Well here’s another wallpaper post where you get two… I guess I’m feeling particularly generous (as if I made these myself).
The one on the left is Flame by Rob Randtoul. The one on the right is Alien Paradise by Inga Nielsen.
As a side point, I get all sorts of emails about various parts of my site, including the wallpapers. Lately even more so… and my site traffic has been ramping up, along with unique visitors and bandwidth utilized. Funny, though, that while overall activity increases in every category, comments tend to trend the opposite. And the opposite seems true, too. Is this like the voltage-current curves in electrical power engineering? Should I create a polar plot of my blog’s power factor as voltage and current lead (or lag) one another? (if I just lost you you are the better for it…)
As always, if you enjoyed the wallpapers you found here please visit the creator’s website and pay homage.

I'm a Christ-follower, compelled by my faith toward reason, which points directly toward conservatism. This world's daily onslaught of lunacy offends my intellect and senses, so this is my venue to blow off steam.

Yup, you lost me…
I was going to test out this new equation plugin that will let me post engineering formulas in their correct notation (rather than text), but i thought that would be a little geeky.
When I was a kid I hated wallpaper. I used to pich it off the walls. Then they came out with Scenes on wallpaper like outerspace and nature scenes and wallpaper won me over. (Note though it shows my age I was around long before this type of wallpaper existed.)
I love the two scenes above Primarily because they are nature and space scenes- my favorites.
OMG! This is the most gorgeous wallpaper I have ever seen. The images are just incredible. I am really happy to have found this post. If you are still around, do you have any more recent ones that I could try out also?
The one on the right called Alien Paradise reminds me so much of the paintings my brother used to do. Sadly he does not paint anymore but I thank you for posting these.
Like the poster above me, I also would like to know if you will be showing any more great wallpapers like these.
I feel as if I have seen the first wallpaper before somewhere. Maybe it looks similar to a background image that I have seen on Windows Vista. However, I have never seen an image like Alien Paradise. Looks very awesome and unique. I actually would like to seem some more depictions of alien worlds. I have seen scientists create simulation of what the surface of other planets would looks like. I think that these realistic depictions would make great images for computer backgrounds images.
The one on the right reminds me of Lord of the Rings – it has that majestic, other-wordly feel about it.
