I have been playing with my photography a bunch lately. Both taking shots with our new Canon G9, and then post-processing them in several of Adobe’s sweet tools, like Lightroom and Photoshop. I am amazed at how much work goes into the professional photographs we see in print media every day to get them looking the way they do… all minty and crispy.
So, while dabbling around I pulled a picture I took from last Winter… cleaned it, balanced the lighting, passed it through a black & white filter, and then gently applied an indigo gradient. The results were pleasing… so here it is for anyone to enjoy if they wish (1600×1200).

I'm a Christ-follower, compelled by my faith toward reason, which points directly toward conservatism. This world's daily onslaught of lunacy offends my intellect and senses, so this is my venue to blow off steam.

That is a very cool picture, I like your work.
I use Gimp mostly for my photo editing needs, which mostly involves very minimal editing, but they have a bunch of neat effects too.
I tie-dyed my dog once, digitally of course, and came out with a pretty cool looking picture
