Actually, I *JUST* got back from seeing Narnia. I loved it. It was exactly what it was supposed to be. Just like Passion, the anti-anything-religion crowd will say whatever to impune what is unimpune... (I guess you could say they'll try to 'F' the ineffable?)

I'll take your advice! :-)

Steveoooo.......really I'm only posting because I need to remind you that you haven't seen Narnia yet!!!!!

Please don't read the review by Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun Times (link follows if you must---<a href="http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051207/REVIEWS/51203001/1023" rel="nofollow">Ebert review</a>).

It is obvious from the review Ebert knows nothing of C.S Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, Narnia, Middle Earth or anything else that has to do with British fantasy literature.

So please see the movie first then, you may read Ebert's review and laugh heartily at the ridiculousness of his blathering.

Out of curiosity, I typed my name as a "dot-com" and it took to a place called RollingDoughnut.com. Very strange. I also googled my name and my alter egos have delved into guitar playing, won "Person of the Year" in Hampton, and - my favorite - serving time on death row in Mansfield, OH. Looks like I'll be joining Tookie soon!

When I post I like to add applicable links to the content of the post... so if people (or myself) want to wander around and check things out they can. When posting about Bing Crosby I saw how his grand-daighter was 'Tasha Yar'. (although I actually linked his name to the Wikipedia page for White Christmas since that was the connection) For Burl Ives I went to his wiki and saw he had a homepage of his very own (burlives.com, I think) so I checked it out and it was kinda ghetto. Normally Burl Ives isn't high on my curiosity list but with Christmas claymations on TV it's a whole new ballgame.

Alissa :: Yeah, I figured since it was available I'd snag it. :-) I checked out the stat site and it looked good. I think ICDSoft does a lot fo that sort of thing, too... although I haven't delved into it fully.

Same question as above. John also asked in an earlier comment if you have a job and when you have time to do all of this stuff? Same question. I would never surf my way to a Burl Ives website.
John - I haven't seen Jolly ole' Jason in years but I think he would do a decent job on the song. Better than me, anyway.

How did you stumble across that bit about Denise Crosby?

We need to get Kopko to sing "Silver & Gold" for us.
