Some Photographic Goodness

ankaracircuitboardUsually my wallpapers I’ve posted for Wallpaper Wednesday have been completely computer rendered graphics, but today I wanted to drop in a few photographs (mildly touched up in Photoshop) that I got at stock.xchng, a photograph sharing website. You have to be a member, but the amount of material there is amazing and of superior quality.

The two images here are both 1600×1200. The one on the left is a night shot of Ankara, Turkey, and the one on the right is a circuit board.

Hey, I was just looking for a neat background of a circuit board because I wanted to create a neat banner for a new website my friends and I are creating. I just wanted to ask permission to use the circuit board in the banner (as the background). the image will contain no explicit material or anything offensive, and I would really like to use it. please email me when you get the chance, and thanks!

Hi, you can use this and the other images located in:

    http://sxc.hu

The registry of a new user is completely free and out of charges, the material in this page is totally free to use in commercial and hobbie works… by the way, excuse my bad english, I’m from Mexico… the land of the tortillas and chile jalapeño XD.

Thanks for posting that, Chilangolandia. I had sent a personal email to “Justin” giving him the URL address… but it makes sense to post it again here so everyone is reminded. It’s a great site.
