Upgraded to WordPress 2.6 and all’s well.

I begged them to implement the WordPress.COM avatar-generation option for the WordPress.ORG software… and in THIS version they did! That means that if a commenter doesn’t have a Gravatar (although everyone SHOULD!) I can instead have their supplied email address generate an avatar for them - like a special geometric pattern (identicon) or a [...]

I get a lot of questions asking me, “How do I get a picture avatar next to my comments like you and other people have?” …or saying, “I checked your blog everywhere for a place to upload my picture but couldn’t find one anywhere.” The answer is Gravatar.com.
