*Ssshhhhh*

*whispering* Beware the “micro-inequities”… they’re everywhere. Yesterday I learned, watching a Lockheed Martin sponsored ethics video, that little tiny critters known as micro-inequities can infiltrate the body of employees and cause them to be sarcastic, dismissive, intolerant and unaccepting of others. After doing a search online I learned that “micro-inequities” were discovered by some PhD somewhere who published a paper on it… and after reading her work I realized that only white (she used the term “Anglo”) and Asian (especially Japanese) men are susceptible to these tiny gremlins. So I’m being very quiet… because the last thing I want to be is sarcastic and dismissive. ;-)

I’ve heard of these critters as well. If you remember from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, these same critters you speak of were used by Kahn in the beginning of the movie to control those two Starfleet Officers. But the author of the article may not be correct about the ethnic groups affected. One officer was bla - err - African American, and the other (Chechov) was an anglo. You didn’t see Sulu, probably Japanese, getting sarcastic. But, Sulu did turn out to be homosexual…What did the online paper say about the critters and sexual orientation?
