It is unfortunate that this kind of behavior is not reported on the major news networks. Instead we get stories about Brittany Spears and her parenting skills and things of the like. It seems that we (average Americans) never get the real facts until years later. I want the right to be outraged at the time of the occurrence.

Hooray for George Bush and his family. If he believed in “green” housing so much, why didn’t he enact more “green” legislation? The average citizen cannot afford to build a “green” house or retro-fit an older home with more environmentally friendly luxuries like he has. Wow, he is wonderful b/c his house is “green.” Great, he is able to save on electricity bills, gas bills, etc. while the rest of us continue to pay them b/c we cannot afford to do all these wonderful things to our homes. It is ironic b/c he is the one who can pay the bills very easily with all of his wealth from the OIL industry. Yes, he pandered to that industry while screwing the American people for 8 years, the same people he was elected to protect. Also, why didn’t he try to enact legislation when he was in office to reduce greenhouse gas emissions or the carbon footprint of many industries, businesses, etc.? Does he think that he will be saved when the world is no longer livable? Probably.

find it really ironic that al gore with all of his preaching about global warming and the movie he must have spent so much money on has the house with the expensive gas bill and uses up more then the average person while GWB didnt sign with china for the carbon fuel emmisions while he was in office and has a VERY eco friendly house. he could be living in luxury but i guess thats a personal decision. politicians only care about the governtment and what they say in front of cameras or in the public eye i guess “going green” doesnt apply when there home. is this really the people we look up 2… or at least listen to or follow. we put them in office =(

To add to your list of hypocrites, you can list down those oil companies claiming to be more environmentally friendly or those cigarette companies advertising and selling their products with “smoking is dangerous to health” label. These hypocrites are not hateful, they’re comical, take for instance Al Gore.

Al Gore shouldn’t have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, but rather the Academy Award for film making. To give him credit, his “Inconvenient Truth” was really filmed well.

Amen to that. What truely astounds me is that people like Gore still have credibility. If everybody knew about things like this, global warming might be religated to being a mere conspiracy theory propogated for politicians to be able to have greater control over people’s personal lives and their businesses. Why else are they trying to shove down the Big 3′s throats the impractical and anti-economical (considering how much research has to be put into the research and developement of these things) of super-fuel efficient cars and fuel cells? It’s all about control.
