I heard a guy speak the other day that talked about how we have stripped the English language of so much meaning. That the words that used to be the highest compliment (ie. Great, Awesome, Amazing, etc) are now used for pizza, movies, Dream Theatre concerts, and comedians. This now leaves no words for the things in life that are in the highest place, truly deserving these compliments, like sunsets, leaves in autumn, 15 years of marriage to the girl you love, a new son or daughter, oh yeah, and God.
