They didn't say 'cards' they said 'pogs' They are circular disks of cardboard (once a popular collectible game for dorks)

Basically, instead of giving change like 5c, 10c, 25c, small amounts like that, soldiers get their change back as pogs. The pogs are redeemable at any military px or store, whether overseas or in the states.

:-) I'm glad you guys are diggin' this.

With regard to the cards... I think they are similar to PX/BX cards of some sort. Almost like a special charge card. I'll have to ask around.

Mint. I looked at the SNL skit from a previous link here at 99. I hope these guys make it. I also hope they don't get in trouble for showing their enlistment papers in a "manner unbecoming."

Curiously, how do they buy things with those cards out there? Are they some type of credit cards or something?

Thanks for the link, I have a feeling that you are right about having to have been in the military to appreciate this. I know that all my Soldiers do.
