You may have to be military to fully appreciate this… but… I found this linked on Steve Martinez’s website. He’s a fellow military man so it doesn’t surprise me I’d find it there. It’s an Army remake of the now famous SNL skit Lazy Sunday I blogged on previously… it’s called Lazy Ramadi and is hilarious… especially to anyone who’s played in the sandbox.

I'm a Christ-follower, compelled by my faith toward reason, which points directly toward conservatism. This world's daily onslaught of lunacy offends my intellect and senses, so this is my venue to blow off steam.

Thanks for the link, I have a feeling that you are right about having to have been in the military to appreciate this. I know that all my Soldiers do.
hehe. Nice one.
Mint. I looked at the SNL skit from a previous link here at 99. I hope these guys make it. I also hope they don’t get in trouble for showing their enlistment papers in a “manner unbecoming.”
Curiously, how do they buy things with those cards out there? Are they some type of credit cards or something?
With regard to the cards… I think they are similar to PX/BX cards of some sort. Almost like a special charge card. I’ll have to ask around.
I saw this on Jay Leno and cracked up when i saw it…. love it
They didn’t say ‘cards’ they said ‘pogs’ They are circular disks of cardboard (once a popular collectible game for dorks)
Basically, instead of giving change like 5c, 10c, 25c, small amounts like that, soldiers get their change back as pogs. The pogs are redeemable at any military px or store, whether overseas or in the states.
Richard :: Thanks for clearing that up!
