Grace Fellowship Coffehouse, Latham, NY

The music on the CD is sharp and heavily loop-based (perfect for casual listening), and Steve McClaine’s vocals are tight. We’ll be playing several live shows coming up (see my guitar dates on my homepage) but the date to remember most is November 3, the official release party. We’ll be playing a full two sets of music including almost all of the CD songs. Our live music is less electronic-based than the CD… it’s much more straight-ahead melodic rock (perfect for live shows).

ok, you’ve convinced me. I’ll come.
Hey Steve,
Your Band Rocks…P.S. Nice Cover Artwork on the CD
I got the CD yesterday. Not bad. I can imagine that it would sound better to me live. The first track, which I liked the best, has just a little too much extra stuff going on. Nice guitars on track 2, both acoustic and electric. Good luck with all of your other projects.
OK. Track 1 is growing on me more and more, especially the backing vocals.
Yeah… I was definitely not joking when I said that the CD is very loop-based and electronic. The first two songs are the one with added guitars and such on top of the loops. I figured you’d be more akin to the live version of the songs - because live we deliver much more guitar driven music.
The first track, Hear, is definitely a good one. I really like it, and I like the backing vocals, too. The Middle Eastern style interlude in the middle of the song is like three times longer in the live version, with the electric guitar doing more stuff.
I’ll be sure to get some video clips from this coming November 3rd CD release concert to put up on the site.
