So dang frustrating. She believes in all the crap about how you can't say anything if it could be slightly offensive about something or the other, even if its true. In her class, we were talking about a shooting in Detroit. During the course of my discussion, I rose my head and said, "And this is news because . . ." Because Detroit is known to be a crime infested city. My communist teacher took this to be offensive to Detroiters and sent me down to the Assisstant Principal, who people have aptly nicknamed "Mr. Satan." Mr. S gave me detention for that statement. He gave me more crap about how you can't say anything if it could be taken the wrong way. So I said, "So if something could be insulting, you're supposed to bury the truth?" That made him divert to saying that we were talking about that particular crime, not the overall crime situation in the city. So I said, "You are giving me detention for straying off topic?" He didn't like that very much. Anyway, I told my dad who used to be a conservative activist and lived in Detroit when it converted from good place to live to slum. We are going to have a meeting with the Communist, the Satanic, and the Principal and get it straightened out. My dad is going to figuratively rip the first two limb-from-limb.
