This weekend I got to hear Frank Reich preach an inspirational sermon at one of the good local churches in my area, Grace Fellowship Church. For those who don’t follow football (please don’t identify yourselves as I’m not schooled in counseling) Frank Reich is a former quarterback for the Buffalo Bills and known best for leading the greatest comeback in NFL history! In fact, this historic game has been affectionately titled by the sports world as “The Comeback.” [Wikipedia entry] [Pro Football Hall of Fame entry] [BuffaloBills.com entry]
Being from Western New York, and solidly in “Bills Country”, I and everyone else in my hometown know exactly where we were the fateful Sunday afternoon of January, 1993. When I get together with my High School buds we still speak of the day in hushed whispers of reverent awe.
It was great to hear Frank Reich speak and to the shake the man’s hand. He’s a strong man of God and a Buffalo legend.

Hey Steve:
Glad to know you got to meet him. He sounds like a cool and well rounded person. Will he step up to the GOP plate?
I will NEVER forget that game! That was the most spectacular game that I have ever seen. I think of it quite a bit. Every time the team that I am rooting for is down and the other team thinks they have it sewed up. I learned that day that it’s truly not over until “the fat lady sings”. ANYTHING can happen in the NFL. I’ve applied that concept to my life too. “Never give up”! Never!
It’s cool to find out that Frank is a Christian too. WOW!
I’ll never forget you Frank. You inspired me.
God Bless you. Take care.
Paul Reech is still playing Football? He must have a higher power on his side!
