Extreme Makeover finale was in my town!

before and after show of Colonie houseThose local to me here in New York’s Capital District already know this (it’s been all over our news)… but tonight’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 2-hour season finale episode on ABC took place just a few miles from my house here in upstate New York. The “actual” event happened a couple months ago, but the show aired tonight. The anticipation for this has been generating stories for weeks all over the local media outlets.

    I have always loved this show. It fascinates me how they can turn simple houses into a fully functional haven for the families. But with all those new gadgets that comes with the makeover, I wonder how the owners can manage to keep up with the bills.
