Snake

snakeOne of the most classic styles of computer games is the snake game. You remember… you’re a snake and you have to scoot around eating apples (which I don’t think snakes do) and growing longer. The trick is that you can’t stop or run into yourself and eventually you really get in your own way.

Anyways, this genre of game was perfect for teaching the aspiring young programming student the basics of computer coding. And the low graphic requirements worked great for using common keyboard characters as the snake (a string of ‘o’ characters) and the apples (asterisks). Well, here is a snazzy Flash version of the classic compliments of our friends at Miniclip.

    I love this game I play it in school when im not doing work. =D I beat the 1st and 2nd level without dying and then it just went down hill 4rm der =/.
