Interactive Buddy

interactive buddyFirst of all, I was utterly shocked and appalled this week when I learned that a SWF file (the Flash file format from Adobe) actually stands for Small Web Format. That’s total crap! It started out as a Shockwave Flash file (SWF) because initially Macromedia created these Flash files in a format called Shockwave. Later they split off Shockwave to be a separate format created by a program called Director and had Flash files created by its own program and in a different format altogether. But, for the longest time… even though Flash was no longer associated with Shockwave in any way, they were still called Shockwave Flash files. Now I pick up a Macromedia (Adobe) textbook and see right in the front they are now calling the SWF file Small Web Format. Well… you can call it that, but not me. :-)

Anyways, today’s Flash file is quite different from any other I’ve put up here. It is called Interactive Buddy and was created by someone from deviantArt by the name ShockValue. It’s not a game so much as just a little entertaining time killer. Try out different things and earn money to buy new things to try. At first I thought this was lame but soon I couldn’t stop playing.

    if you have it on your computer you do not need to save. you just go back to the game .

    this is a fun game where you can shoot missles and other weapens like molotov tails. you can make them happy or sad. there is modes like y and gory and earth % C it adds more fun while you are playing because it helps it look cooler. then there are the skins. examples are teletubby, bush, kerry, gates, maddox, and much more. it’s really fun so try it out.

    THIS IS A FUN GAME BECAUSE YOU CAN SHOOT HIM WITH MISSLES AND SLOW IT DOWN IF YOU DO IT TO MANY TIMES. NEW BACKROUNDS WOULD BE COOL BUT THIS GAME IS NOT WEIRD OR DISTURBING.

    This game is the best game ever! apart from the ones blocked at school, Rabid Squirrel is sweet idea, you should be able to burn him to ash and be able to bring hm back to life.

    But i cant use anything except open hand and the top bar has no text

    Unlimited money:
    Get $400 and buy the scripting engine. Then enter the following: gx+random and press Run once. Your cash should read NaN.NaN. Note: Do not tick run every frame or the game will crash.

    Hint: Easy money:
    Select “Open Hand”. Click on your buddy with it so that $ pops out. Right click. A menu from Flashplayer will open with a list of options. Ignore it and click somewhere other than the flash box. Your buddy will still be spewing out cash as if your mouse pointer were still there. You can go on to do whatever else you need to do.

    Hint: Explode Molotov cocktail in the air:
    Buy Molotov cocktails, then select them. While the point is in the air, double-click and the cocktail will just explode. Keep double-clicking and lots of random explosions will happen, with pieces of burning glass falling from the sky.

    Glitch: Vortex still working:
    When you have the strong gravity vortex, pick up your buddy and move him to the outside. Take your mouse outside the box of the game. When you bring your mouse back into the box, the vortex will still be working, as if you were still holding the mouse in.
