Today I’m finishing a week long training class in Macromedia Flash. I don’t know if I’m skilled yet, but definitely dangerous. So let Flash Friday begin.
Here’s a great little puzzle game from Cublo Games called Gems. It took me just a bit to get used to manipulating the gems, but once I did this became very addictive. If you like this game check out the developer’s other stuff.

I'm a Christ-follower, compelled by my faith toward reason, which points directly toward conservatism. This world's daily onslaught of lunacy offends my intellect and senses, so this is my venue to blow off steam.

Great game, I had played a paid version once on MSN’s game zone I think, this one is just as good.
Keep going with the Flash Fridays.
Thanks smart001, I will indeed keep it going. I find myself coming back to play these things all the time. This Gems one is REALLY addicting.
Cool game, but i have a version of this game on my xbox360 and you dont have to keep swaping directions of where the gems are heading.
Love this game, just like hexic on the 360 arcade. suuper dope
dis game rocks our smeely twisted socks
Dudes, I played until i reach3ed level 21 and just turned off the game. There is nothing new happening, it just keeps going. This game sucks big time.
If any 1 wants a 1v1 on Cod4 for the 360 Tell me
Oh man, I was only looking for something to kill 30 minutes at lunch. When will I ever learn!
The last time I was glued on a game like this, it was tetris.
I have played something similar a few years back. Time goes bye before you realize it. Keep up your Flash Friday.
Quite addicting! Good effort, Steve! I agree with one comment…maybe you can add a key-combo for the direction change; like pressing the space bar twice, for example. Other than that, I played the demo longer than I probably should have. Back to work…
Haha, well I had no idea what I was getting myself into before stumbling upon this blog article. I mean… it’s a fun game, but I’m not getting that 30 minutes I spent playing it back! lol
Your post has inspired to start my own “Flash Fridays”. For the next four weeks, I will play one new flash game every Friday. This one is pretty good, but I have a feeling there are still seem super simple yet addictive ones still out there.
Oh dear. Yet another thing to keep me from working….
